Harpistically Yours, Curtis
Join us for a new recital of works for horn and harp.
The performance opens with a sumptuous harp trio by Henriette Renié, whose singular artistry inspired Debussy and Ravel to write new works for the harp. The program concludes with two glorious horn works: Romantic composer Robert Schumann’s noble and heroic Adagio and Allegro followed by Gunther Schuller’s Nocturne, written during the darkest days of World War II.
